Next to each product there is information in relation to the materials the jewelry is made of.

Some are made of 925 Silver or Vermeil Gold. Vermeil is the jewelry coating that is made of 925 silver with a deep layer of the jewelry surface with 22 karat gold. Some are made of brass or steel coated with a layer of 24kt Gold or 925 Silver.

All materials are of the highest quality however keep in mind that over time the coating may wear out. This is normal and does not justify returning the jewelry. Jewelry made of 925 silver last forever. It is up to you to know if you have an allergy as everyone’s skin responds differently to different metals. 

All jewelry pieces are hand-crafted carefully by Athenian and Balinese artisans.

Some tips for maximum durability and maintenance:

-Do not store your jewelry in the bathroom, as moisture from your shower and sink may lead to tarnishing.

-Do not wear your jewelry when you are in the pool, hot springs, Turkish bath / sauna, jacuzzi or shower.

-Remove jewelry when doing chores. Chlorine, detergents, can all cause stains and damage.

-Avoid direct contact with makeup, oils, soaps, perfumes, hair sprays and other cosmetics.
